Just finished up a great week at Rainy lake. Had some tremendous fishing days, at times ridiculous. I’ll post more details when we get we get back.

We are staying at ShaSha resort. Couldn’t convince fam to do the houseboat. Turned to be a lucky move. Wife had shoulder surgery two weeks ago and would not have enjoyed the houseboat.

I was thinking starting out at Cracker Barrel for breakfast, then Culver’s for lunch topped by Costco pizza.
Then I remembered there is no Cracker Barrel any where nearby and the whole plan went down the drain.
Saw a blurb on local news about a spice and rub company that is a passion of a kid with Downs Syndrome. I have not tried any of the spices but thought it is neat story. The company name is Max Mix.
Rodney Scott’s method of un wrapped ribs are pretty good. He puts MSG in his rub and his mop contains lots of vinegar. The are not fall off the bone, but very tender
I have the Trailblazer. It might take a few minutes longer. If it’s below 20 I put a blanket on it.
I also store in garage when not in use. I’m sure that helps because it’s a little warmer that way. Also pellets not exposed to rain or other moisture.
I use my recteq in cold weather a lot.
Not sure which vintage of the 590 you have. But make sure the vents are clear, fire pot clean and good pellets. I’ve run my in sub zero temps
