We've got 2 of them; one about 25 yrs old and a new bigger one with the lift. Excellent machines. Don't have the heart to part with the old one as it's still like brand new! You'll enjoy it, now to collect some attachments.
I was thinking the same as Buzzy. Going to be a lot of meat if you have a place to put it. Would make awesome sausages and brat patties. You could make different products over time once it was ground, mixed and frozen.
My favorite app is bacon wrapped jalapenos stuffed with seasoned cream cheese and cheddar & they're easy. Another easy 1 is chunks of belly, shoulder, or country style ribs dusted in rub and made into burnt ends. Or both! Have fun.
Brown sugar, #1, and Kosher salt. Then smoked=Simple Heaven! Just did 6 lbs myself along with 3 lbs each of Molasses, Black Pepper, and Ginger and hot pepper bacons. Couldn't stop eating it, so delicious!

Thanks for trying guys, I appreciate the help. Peachey, that's a heck of an offer! Haha, were going to try to get along first. I would think these things must use standard bearings and such, wouldn't you? I wanted to freshen it up a bit and it should be a lifetime machine, but with no info out...
I haven't been able to even find any reference to the name, model or even that the company ever made such a thing; how is that possible? I've spent hours. Looks just like the Hobarts and others of the era, I wonder if they just rebadged another machine and sold with their name? Still you'd think...
Just bought an old cast iron #12 meat grinder and can't find any info on it. It says Braun and C-O-L-E-S or T-O-L-E-S model #27. Looks like it was made by Braun? The thing must weigh at least 75 pounds. Anyone have any ideas?
