Ad Blockers suck. I know I'm not a big poster ( Motor Mouth ), but I disagree about their use. For 20+ years I ran a site, up until I acquired end stage kidney failure. Then it got put on the back burner. In those 20+ years I never ran an ad, I paid it all out of my pocket. I had plenty of...
You may want to contact Speed Queen BBQ ( speedqueenbbq.com ) in Milwaukee, WI. They sell their secret recipe sauces ( Hickory/Hot & Regular ) in stores. The restaurant is in the hood, you take your life in your hands going after dark. But well worth it. Cash Only.
I'm more of a lurker right now, and do enjoy it here, Will become more active in the future, I have a few questions I'm hoping to get help with.
In the near future we will be moving to Tennessee (Tri Cities Area) is there any reputable meat markets where we can buy say an entire beef/hog or...

This was back in 1995. He got popped then for something, but only had his captains license revoked for a year. Was something to do with swapping out fish to the pukers they took out.
Oh Man...I gotta get back there. I ran a paper motor route back then, I saw this one guy who had in illegal one, had he been caught they would still be pumping daylight to him...It was 11' long...Huge.
I know Astoria well...Spent many paychecks at Annies Upper Town. Loved it there, just didn't pay very well. I made more in unemployment in New York, than I did working 60 hours a week in Washington..Quite a reality check there.
Eagles Nest Resort was fun..but wasn't a money maker.
Thanks. His recipes look good, unsure who he is neither. But the pictures make me drool.. most of them anyway.
Where in Oregon? 20+ years ago I was from Ilwaco, Loved it there. But the resort I worked for sold out, new owners weren't all that nice. All business.
I'm not 100% positive...that happens after ya turn 65, But I don't think it was a popular brand like Oberto or Jack Link, I think it was an off brand. It was priced less than the name brands. I tried Googling a package image..no luck.
I Like that idea, Especially the 1200 watt element. I've built a few different smokers, Some worked, Some didn't. Done both electric & propane, Electric by far trumps propane.
My worst attempt was when I made one out of 100% cedar...propane powered. After a couple hours, the whole damned thing...
Bookmarked. Thanks. I was sort of expecting to see LC/BC.. You know.. little chief/BIG CHIEF. I use a little Master Built now...what a POS :emoji_blush::emoji_sunglasses:
I have. What I wish I could find is an old circa 1950s Refrigerator. Used one out in Washington State, best Sturgeon, Salmon, Smelt, Clams & Elk we ever had. I picked oysters, but never tried smoking them.
