Had a great time yesterday @HalfSmoked @pc farmer and crew. Thanks for having me.
It was an interesting drive home last night when I got to the Harrisburg area. I'm very glad I was paying attention to the road, or rather, what was on the road.
Warren made his way to my place.. twice.
@pc farmer , I'll be there on Saturday. Let me know what supplies to bring. I plan on making some chicken, but, need to know how many to prepare for.
I got 2 cans off Amazon.. learned it from a video on YouTube by Chuds BBQ. He's got some great suggestions.
So how are your wings doing?!? I'm not trying to hijack your thread here.
I'll be thinking up something to make for that Saturday.. it may just be some crispy skin chicken or Carolina white sauce chicken parts. Either way, it should be edible.

@GATOR240... you in?
Gratuitous bump... lets hear from some more PA members. Adam, Warren and their folks go out of their way to make some serious food. Right, @smokin peachey ?
I'll do my best to be there.. and drag Kyle along. Mind if we bring his 4-wheeler ?
If anyone is in doubt, Farmer and his family make you feel like one of their own and extends his hospitality.. My son and I had a great time at the last one meeting Chef Jimmy (RIP) and Gator. We both had a...
I tried a store bought sauce a few years ago and thought it tasted awful.. so I made my own. I DID omit salt and paprika from the original, just to make it my own.
Not surprisingly, this white sauce tastes better today after everything had a chance to meld, then it did yesterday. Glad @smokin peachey recommended this.
First time making white sauce... but Peachey said it was good stuff, so, I had to try it out.
1 cup Mayo (Duke's)
2 Tbsp Cider Vinegar
2 tsp Yellow, and Dijon mustard
1/2 tsp hot sauce
4 tsp brown sugar
1/2 tsp Onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp black pepper
a few splashes of...
Started off with some run of the mill chicken drums... put them in a bag with Dukes Mayo and some spices, then on to the Kettle with a few hickory chunks.
Just a sauce I picked off the interwebs, but, dang it was good. Smoked the drums till they were around 170 internal, then flipped and...
