MAK builds a tank also!
I have Smoke Daddy’s PID on my Traeger Pro 34. Easy work around with a smoke tube or maze! I have both. Plus Smoke Daddy’s Big Kahuna cold smoke generator. I knew I needed supplemental smoke to achieve the smoke rings and bark we prefer going to the PID.
The P&S 2018’s...
Thanks Y’all!
B, I seen ya swimming the shark infested waters of Insta, HAHAHA!
Cheers All. Hoping you all have a fabulous Memorial Day weekend! I’m off to the salt mines!

I asked my Bride what we had I could cook as I was returning from a business trip.
Turns out she had planned ahead and had a huge bag of chicken wings from Costco! So I smoked ‘em for about 2 hours and cranked it to 350 to finish them off. My Bride even asked me to roast a pablano for her to...
Heck Yeah!
That makes us both entered for the Timberline 1300.
It was an event day Traeger Grills started and they gave away 800 pellet hopper magnets and 1 of the 800 will be selected to receive a Timberline 1300.
Nut swinging stuff! Traeger's New owners are master of the Social Media game...
I usually always position mine front to back in length all the way left. Though on a Traeger the RTD is there. The tube, if too close to the RTD does generate heat as the burn gets next to it and that can throw off the true temp in the chamber.

Thank You Kindly, Sister! The honey & sauced ones were sticky sticky sticky to be sure!
Thank You Sir.
I put that foreboard through its paces! I need to buy a fan setup and use it to control the flow on the Napoleon Apollo charcoal smoker for a long cook.

ABSOLUTELY YES!!!
All the Traeger’s I’ve had, have all of Smokey Daddy Inc’s heavy gauge stainless steel internals. I upgraded my 22” with the new Pro AGL controller and Dennis’s internals and gave it to our daughter. My Pro 34 has his components.
10ga heat shields and 11ga drip pans. The...
Thank you.
I’ll share! North Texas, roll out!
We split the pile about 1/3 out to go back with the honey and sauce. We weren’t sure which way we’d prefer so we did both!
As it turned out we opt for the naked with a decent sweet rub as the only seasoning. Which John Henry’s Pecan Rub was ideal...
I have not done a lot of pulled pork but what we have done when we vacuum seal it to freeze we add some Carolina style sauce (vinegar based) to the meat before we seal it.
When I fridge food for a day or two after I smoke it, I like to have it in tins as you mention but I use plastic wrap to...
I opted for the sweetest seasoning in the arsenal!
I’ll add honey with a tic of sauce later. Have to try some first. With the Pecan Rub they may be spot on with sweetness. We Texians are not huge on the sweet but pork candy kinda necessitates sweet!

I opted for the 12-18” expandable oval tube! I also have a 5X8 maze. The maze is best for cold smokes and the tube works best when I have the controller running the smoker. I have a PID controller on my Traeger so if I am running on a set temp the PID doesn’t generate a lot of smoke this...
The pork belly is cubed and in the Traeger Love Chamber!

Was debating on how to treat them so I settled on cubed and 225 after having them much lower and in strips. I tossed the trim pieces on also!
