    I guess I'm washing my drip bucket either way so I'm not sure how much the silicon liner would buy me. Just something else to wash. Disposable changes that equation.

    Hi all from currently rainy Los Angeles! Been lurking since October, finally signed up the other day. Love all the great info here. I got a RecTec 680 in November and a couple decent results so far, looking forward more smoked meats in my future!

    What’s with Rec Tec?

    [New member here... been lurking for a bit and finally decided to register, so not trying to shill for Rec Tec or anything] I got a Rec Tec 680 as a gift in November. The bolts I received were a LITTLE short in that with the lock washers they provided, a couple were about 2 threads too short...
