    New kettle

Congrats. Not much better than a new kettle. I’m lucky enough to get a new one every 1-3 years at our government contracted movers expense 😆

    Thoughts on portable pellet grills

I picked up the pitboss table top at Walmart for about $100. Love the thing. Use it to quickly fire up quickly for hot dogs, chicken roast, wings. It’s so easy to use and convenient. Temps are a little off but I would never use if to a long cook so it doesn’t bother me.

1st time Chuck Roast on pellet grill ? Still trying to figure out Pellet grills?

If your shooting for an IT of 130* I take it your planning on slicing it and not pulling it right? Temp around 275* will be good. I just wouldn’t go much higher if you can avoid it (on pellet that shouldn’t be an issue). I’ve never done a chuck roast to slice so I can’t help there. I do love a...

    Wood stain and engraving question

Thanks for the reply. The stain is just going to be a dark color I can’t remember the exact name. And the center piece is a different cut of wood from Lowe’s a little. It thicker but said maple too

    Easter pulled pork

Looks good I started doing my puke butts around 275-285. Don’t really pay much attention to the smoker temp unless it gets below 250 or above 295. Use to do the 225* smokes for it but never really noticed a difference other than taking longer. How did it taste?

    Wood stain and engraving question

I’m building a wood binder for a project at work that I’m doing. I just have some pieces of thin maple put together for it. I’m planning on getting it engraved and staining it. My question is should I stain it then engrave it or get it engraved. I’m assuming stain first then engrave to get the...

    blackstone

I don’t use it for steaks either. But I’d recommend starting of on medium heat even maybe a little lower. And don’t try to cook a lot at once the first few times. It can be overwhelming if you aren’t familiar with cooking times

    $1,000,000

I’d pay off my wife’s Jeep, buy a house and probably save the rest. 2 kids, 2 being girls…. Things aren’t getting any cheaper, maybe do a tune up on my old truck 😆
