I didn't.l buy it. I wanted to make sure it was a Gen 2....so I could avoid it.

Sorry I didn't take a pic from the top, I was in a rush. I thought maybe the rounded corner controller on the front would have been enough to decipher it from a Gen 1? 

It was on the back left side when looking at it from the picture i posted.

Noob here, been lurking for a couple weeks. I saw the Lowes near me has this on clearance, is it any good? I saw that WallyMart and Home Depot has the Gen1 (I think) for $175.00. From what I've gathered, the Gen 1 would be the better choice.
