I smoke most my catfish now. I cut it in small chunks like I'm going to fry it. Then just load up the mes and smoke until done. I personally like it better than fried. We fill 2 freezers a year with catfish so I eat a lot if it. Smoking is my go to method anymore
Thanks guys I wish it had a sharpener on it. It needs the blade sharpened bad.I used it to slice some cheese and some of bearcarvers Canadian bacon. It worked ok but needs to be sharper
Well I've been looking for a slicer for awhile. I came across this it's a older berkel 829 12 inch slicer. I paid 50.00 for it. I've got 100.00 in it total. I think I got a pretty good deal on it.
I've got my amnps to work twice in my mes 30. But both times I'm left with a thick brown stuff on the glass and in my mailbox. I never had this when I used chips in the chip tray
I just bought a older berkel 12 inch model 829. The slicer runs good but the blade won't adjust all the way down to the smallest setting. I gave 50.00 for it. But I think the meat shelf is bent. this hits the shelf before the slicer is all the way closed. I don't know alot about slicers. I hope...
