    Ok, so I'm new to this and this Sunday I'm going to be trying out my smoker for the first time (char-griller offset) and I'm a little scared haha I have a couple of questions 1: do I put the wood directly on to the hot coals? 2: how much would should I use? (I'm smoking a 4lb rack of pork ribs)...

    Thanks everyone! Can't wait to get started, the first thing I think I'm doing is some pulled pork for my housewarming party. Hopefully it comes out good seeing as my first smoke will be for a crowd! Haha

    What's up everyone? Nick here from CT. Just got my first smoker (char-griller offset) haven't got the chance to smoke anything yet but I can't wait to get started. Looks like there's lots of good info, can't wait to get started!
