    Maple Bourbon Pops Wet Brine

Hello, been a while since I have been on the site. I'm going to be helping with a Union BBQ in a couple of weeks and I wanted to do chicken breasts. I thought I would bring them over night in Pops. I have used Pops before for bacon and turkey without adding anything else to the brine. I would...

    Moose burger meatloaf

Had a pack of moose burger left so I decided to whip up a meatloaf. I mixed the moose with equal parts of beef burger then did a bacon weave on top. Turned out amazing! Sent from my VS985 4G using Tapatalk

    Meat slicer

Bacon turned out great! Pops never fails, great flavor. The Cabelas slicer worked great too. I did have to bend the frozen slab in a U shape to be able to slice with out cutting but the slicer went through the bacon like butter. Very pleased. Sent from my VS985 4G using Tapatalk

    Meat slicer

Well I settled on the 10" commercial grade slicer from Cabelas. The useable portion of the sled measures about 9". I measured the 12" slicer too and it had the same sled. Hope it works well as it was quite pricy investment. I will keep you posted. Sent from my VS985 4G using Tapatalk

    Cold smoker

I use a smoking wedgie, similar to an amazn tube. If you look close you can see it in the fire box. There will not be any "fire" in the box, just smoldering pellets. Sent from my VS985 4G using Tapatalk

    Meat slicer

Well I rarely cook the bacon in a fry pan. I almost always cook the bacon on the Traeger or in the oven. Just my preferance. Sent from my VS985 4G using Tapatalk

    Cold smoker

My neighbors moved and gave me their old Brinkmann offset smoker. I cleaned it up, used bbq paint and installed the dryer hose to help with keeping the smoke cool. I used nomex gasket around the firebox and sealed up all the cracks I could see while the Smokin Wedgie was going. Took me a bit to...
