Final verdict , tri tip came out awesome baked potato and steam squash. It doesn't get any better then this. Backyard smoking lets you eat champaign meals on a beer budget.
Congratulations , in couple of years of learning the basics on my Oklahoma joe. I plan on investing in a nice backyard smoker grill, problem is shipping to California since there's very few bbq fabricators out here.
