    Pellet grill temperature disparity

I have a Smoke Daddy Pellet Pro 1190 and notice the thermometer on the top of the grill cabinet reads way off from where I set the temp on the hopper. The thermometer is considerably higher. I guess this is normal?

    Buying ribs to smoke

I have wondered where most people buy their ribs for smoking, baby backs or St.Louis. I live in a fairly small area with options of a Food Lion or Walmart. A Costco is about an hour away. The nearest butcher is about 1 1/2 hours away. I`ve heard the butcher has the best quality but won`t they...

Buying a used Traeger Timberline 850

I am interested in getting a pellet/smoker grill and see one on Marketplace. I see a Traeger Timberline 850 for sale that the owners says he purchased 2-3 years ago. The pictures make it appear to be in very clean condition. Traeger may not even still make this particular model. I`d really...

    One more turkey ?

Doing a 12 lb turkey and on pit barrel cooker and want to know what temperature to pull from the cooker? I understand it needs to be 165 upon completion but some say pull when the breast temperature is a little lower and it will continue to cook as it rests. Trying to avoid a dry bird.

    Pork Butt rub ?

I have always used Killer Hogs Pork rub and my wife accidentally ordered Killer Hogs HOT version. We aren`t big fans of a lot of heat but do you think this will be overly hot? Thinking I have a little of the regular rub and just going light on the Hot version?

    Pit Barrel Cooker..PBC

I am about to acquire a PBC which is basically a UBS for those not familiar with them. One of the things I`ve noticed is that they dont come with any temperature gauge or any type of damper like the Weber Smokey Mountain has. I`m fully aware that the manufacturer says the warranty is voided if...

    Used Traeger Eastwood

I have my eye on one of these that is being sold used for $350 on CL . The owner says it has only been used 6 times. Does anyone have thoughts on the product and the asking price? I see it appears Home Depot sells this model for around $630 locally. Thanks!

    Which Oklahoma Joe Mods

I have my eyes on a OKJ Longhorn and it seems the consensus that mods must be done to bring these units up to par. I`ve looked around and I see the individual items as well as entire kits to do all the mods. My question of this list is there any you might eliminate or at all necessary..? 1...

Masterbuilt problems and what to do?

I have a 15 month old Masterbuilt Pro that I purchased from a big box store that has gone bad. Masterbuilt has been more than fair on customer service. I called them to disclose my problem and they sent me a new controller free of charge. Unfortunately, this did not fix my problem and it must be...
