    Jeeky slicer...worth the money?

    Was looking at buying a jerky slicer attachment to hook onto my grinder...what is everyone's opinion on using one of these for cutting jerky slices?

    Cure 1 (Pink Salt) question

    Can Cure 1 go bad?  My "Pink Salt" has turned from being pink to a pale color.  It was stored in a Rubbermaid container with the lid on...kinda airtight but not perfect.  Will it still hold its cure powers?

    BBQ Jerky recipe??

    Looking for a BBQ Jerky recipe that uses a cure...either Cure #1 or Tenderquick.  Buddy of mine at work would like me to make him some and I cant find a good recipe using the cure.  Dont want to make it without the cure....I know some people will say its ok...dont want to start a fight over...

    Pastrami?? Need Help

    Ok,,,got how to do the brine using POP's method and recipe....when I smoke it how hot internal temperature should I go?? I have read 165 all the way up to 205....??? I know its a brisket and usually brisket gets tender around 195 to 200 but curing the meat should make it tender too..

    New MES 40

    Got the New gen MES 40 from Sams....wow this thing holds a lot...ordered the AMNPS and a Maverick 732 and did a couple of butts for Christmas.  Everyone said they were great.  Have to practice cause my daughter wants me to do pulled pork for her wedding next year in October so I will be smoking...
