Same outlet I have used before, but now it is tripping the gfci breaker. Tried it inside plugged into a non-gfci circuit and it works fine.... any suggestions/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Well it finally happened. Thankfully, I plugged up the MES 40 this evening in preparation for smoking a couple of 12-13 pound turkeys starting in the morning. The heating element stayed ice cold.... moved it back inside and started removing the small access cover and sure enough the connectors...
This one was requested by my wife... dug out the center and filled with mini snickers and caramel chips.
Next 2 pics are from recipe I found on SMF. Pealed and sliced apple, layered with brown sugar & butter and caramel chips, all wrapped in pastry.

its 28 degrees outside and I had 2 butts in the smoker and it started snowing.....
I put a towel over the top to keep it off the controls since I was close to pulling it out anyway.
top one had garlic & herb rub and on the bottom one I tried something different with Grippo's bar-b-q spice...
one minute I had TBS and everything looked great. The wife walked into the kitchen and we looked outside to LOTS of smoke. Luckily it had just started and I think the turkey will survive.
Main thing I was curious about was.... is there anything I need to look at or check on the smoker to...

Bacon weave, sausage, cheese, hash brown potatoes with green & red peppers...

rolled up, smoked on the MES 40 for about 2 hours...

I did a small sampler.... btw, I promise better pictures next time. I had trouble keeping the drool from messing up the pics.
