I have a traeger smoker and I am getting a nice smoke ring but there does not seem to be much smokey flavor. Is there anything i can try or something i should do to get the smoke flavor?
I have made a couple really good briskets in the past couple months so I figured I would smoke one for the 4th. I picked one out at costcoand it looked like it had a good amount of fat on it like the others. I smoked it for 12 hours 2-4 hours more than the other 2 i got it up to 190 and pulled...
I finally decided to give it a try and the resulst must have been pretty good because there was none left after about 10 minutes of it being sliced. Thanks to everyone who has posted how to smoke a brisket for newbies like me.I also smoke 6 racks of baby backs for this wonder ful weekend.
