my 30 year old biro finally bit the dust i believe. it has worked great for year but its time to get something new. this unit i believe was a 1/2 horsepower. I want somethign thats not huge but for sure nothing small cheap that will break easy.

i have a bunch of ground deer that has a little beef kidney fat mixed in. Is it safe to thaw that out, and reuse it for say some deer hot dogs and some sausage?
mine will never get above 400 and even less since its cold out i think maybe the temp probe thats inside is pretty dirty. Anyone have an easy way to clean all the black stuff off it.
