    More jerky hopefully

OK first batch I did was cut 1/4 inch maybe a lil less and was great. Took about 2 hours in the smoker. I thought this was weird since most smoke em much longer. I had the Daniel boon set at 150. I didn't probe the inside so maybe it's much hotter in there then what it was set at. Anyways...

Herb smoked and creole injected chicken

Had some thighs I needed to cook up so I marinated them overnight in zesty Italian dressing. Threw them on a pan today and injected some creole butter into them then applied some chicken herb seasoning Into the gmg at 300 until done. Jacked it up to 350 to crisp up the skin. Not too shabby

    Jerky on a GMG?

Curious if it can be done and done well on a pellet smoker. My Daniel boon starts at 150 degrees. Wish it could go lower but that's all she does. I would prefer only using the smoker if possible. Starting to research now. I won't bother if I can't get at least store bought quality jerky.

Looking for alternative ideas for chicken wings

I love my chicken wings but they're getting so expensive. What have you guys done to replace the wings? Thinking of going big and using drumsticks, thighs and what not. Do you prepare them the same as you would if you was doing wings? Man I love wings. Maybe slice up a beast in strips then...

    Foil gmg grease tray?

Been using my Daniel boon a lot and this weekend I took it apart to use the pizza oven. No surprise the top grease tray was thick and nasty. So on gmg smokers there's 2 trays that lay on top of each other. Not sure how other brands are. They both have a bunch of holes obviously but you can...

    Grabbed some gmg pellets today

Haven't heard anything about them but stopped at a store I just found near me after work and picked up the pizza oven attachment for my danial boon and seen them there. 2 for 30 bucks. Figured why not. So far my favorite is prolly the Louisiana competition blend. They don't carry that brand and...
