    Grilled Corn

    I just shuck the corn and keep it cool till I get ready to deep fry it. I usually keep my peanut oil about 365 and fill the baskets. Deep fry till it starts to caramelize  a little. Doesn't take long. Wont believe how many compliments you will get.

    Deep fry! Grew up with boiled and then did it deep fried. Wow and everybody that tries it can't believe how good it tastes even without any butter.

    Have had a Bradley Smoke Generator for about 4 yrs. now, No complaint works great. I love that I can load it and forget it.

    A local store has some really good smoked Gouda on sale $1.99 lb. So my question is can you freeze it. I vac packed some but was wondering if I could also freeze some for say cooking (mac n cheese etc)

    I had a neighbor that use to make apple jack every year a barrel at a time. He used sugar, yeast raisins, and corn flakes. Don't have the full recipie he died a few years back. This was the best I have ever tasted

    Anyone do Overnight Smokes?

    Always do overnighters. Set my PID for 220 put in 10hrs. worth of pucks and go to bed. They turn out great even without foiling them. Have done 8lb. butts to 16lb briskets. Never a problem.
