Try rereading my original post. I don't want $6 a pound. But shipping a flat-rate USPS box from Hawaii to the mainland is $17.60. And that's far-and-away the cheapest option. There are two sizes of USPS flat rate box: 12-1/4" x 12-1/4" x 6" or 24-1/16" x 11-7/8" x 3-1/8" (Same volume if you do the math.) The 24" box would take less time to fill.
