Looks like this is used for Kilns. I bet you can use some of aluminum flat bar at Menards or Homedepot, drill some holes through it and the tadpole tape and use SS screws and bolts to hold tape in place to seal the lid of the CGSP. Thoughts?
Here it is, i just started it. I got a fire going in the side fire box and one to the left of the main chamber. I guess this is more indirect grilling than smoking, but i'm using some hickory chunks. I don't know if you can see the TBS in the first pic! I used my blackberry phone to take pics...
I cut a 2x4 the length of the inside the main chamber. That provided me a solid base to the side so I could knock out football with hammer. Someone one here suggested it to me and it worked like a charm. had it out in less than a minute.
