I have been smoking for a few years. I have a barrel smoker, works great. I need a bigger smoker. So I ordered a Oaklahoma Joe's bandera. It came in damaged. The replacement will be here Tuesday. I need to seal it. Looks like I need lavalock gaskets and red food grade sealer. Anyone done this? -
Need to seal new Oaklahoma Joe's Bandera
I ordered a week ago, it should be here by Thursday. I wanted to have all the seals. I need to season it also. I have 3 spiral hams. Looks like one more has to go through my barrel smoker.- Fruitwood

I have been reading your forum. Looks like I want to use lavalock rtv 650 red & lavalock 1/2" × 1/8"×15' nomex gasket. How much do I need? Is 1 roll & 2- 3oz tubes going to be enough? Am I looking at the right stuff?- Fruitwood
