Yeah pheasant hunting is fun although here there are so rare. There are a lot of pheasant farms though. It's pretty funny to watch people there. They shoot them as soon as they are released and don't get the hot of hunting for them
I hunt everything!! From bear to rabbits. And birds turkey to doves. I love in South eastern pa but have a cabin in northern pa. About 10 miles from my house is where we do a lot of goose hunting. We are right on the migration belt for Canadians and snow geese. So we have 2 really good parts...
I finished this build and posted on another thread. Turned out great and I am excited to smoke some more. These are the ribs I got as a trial run and they turned out amazing.
After completing the build I seasoned the smoker for 4 hours. Then it was time to try my first smoke. Turned out great!! The ribs were amazing. Made a dry rub and left the ribs out for 3 hours and in foil for an hour and a half.
I removed the heating element and fabricated 2 doors out of plywood and cement also being that it wasn't an insulated warmer I built a frame around it with plywood just as extra insulation. Slanted roof incident rains to keep the rain out of the smoker. board
So I started with an idea and going through many different builds on this forum I decided to give a build a try. I received a warming cabinet from my cousin that is a chef and the electrical system no longer worked on this cabinet.
Good idea. I was trying to think of a way to make a door for a food warmer smoker project I am working on. May try this out. What did you use for your access door on the big door. Also what did you use as your door seal?
Here is what I am going to be working with. The warmer in it does not work so I will need to put in another heat source. Any tips and or suggestions for this build are greatly appreciated
