Just pre seasoned it today.
Should get the 5 X 8 AMNPS soon from Todd.
Where will I place it in my MES?
Btw how long approx will the smoke last?
Am I putting smoke on the entire cook? Or just like the first half of the cook?
Here's a pic of my MES?
How exactly did you preseason your MES?
Is there a better way than what is mentioned in their instructions? When you get to the smoke part, what if you don't have wood chips? Can you use pellets, and if so, how much?
Does anyone coat the insides with any cooking oil(peanut?) and if so, at what...
I got mine from Sam's Club-- the 40" MES 2.5 generation Bluetooth complete with legs on wheels. Way bigger than I expected. It says in the install instructions that it takes 25 minutes to assemble. Took me that long to get everything out of the box. LOL probably took me two hours and 25...
Yeah, as long as the blue tooth electronics don't screw up the digital functions, I'm ok, because $329 appears to be a very good deal for a 40" MES even w/o BT which I may not use anyway. At Bass Pro, it was $150 more.

My name is Larry. Been an occasional lurker for several years but still a newbie especially to the smoking lingo and anachronyms. Born and raised in Central Florida and a staunch Gator fan.
I have owned a Big Green Egg for about 4-5 years, but was considering a Masterbuilt smoker for...
