A regular smoothie type blender. Fermented in 1/2 gallon jars in salt brine until is slowed. I tried using a squitter plastic tipped bottle like a ketchup dispenser and the solids would clog it. I just ended up water batch canning it in pints and cooking with it.
I tried fermented and could not get the solid to mix with the water. I had pepper paste and clear spicy water. I could not get a solid sauce like a hot sauce.
I do this with most things. The size of my garden would be cost prohibitive if I did not. If its not Heritage, I am not interested

What are you all using them for? I got about 16 plants starting to flower
I made a hot/sweet pepper relish with Jalapeno and greens and looking to make it hotter with Serrano. Thinking of drying for use like cayenne for cooking. Maybe other uses.
I was told pigweed is edible, older leave could be like bitter spinach, but I like bitter. Picked some and tossed in chicken coops while not out and they ate all the leaves.
I might be able to eat the weeds too.
I have tried neck various ways. Favorite was a marinated tied roast soaking in ACV, oil, garlic and Woster. Fabulous the first night and tough as left overs. Just not a grill meat.
Canning it and the tendons and fat all cook out. Good but ruins the liquid if you want to use it. I typically...
Well she might have done him a favor. If she is just a GF, comes over and tosses your stuff out, imagine how she will be when she's got the keys to the kingdom. I'd have given her the WTF do you think you are, speech.
My wife did something really stupid when we were dating and learned from the...

Things are growing more now as its been raining again. It was terrible dry last month. Next week will be the July Update.
You might need a damper system and you need a temperature gauge. Maybe two dampers one inlet from charcoal area to control heat into smoker and external on the charcoal box fo if closing the smoker you don't but the charcoal out.

Its all on how you feed it. I just cooked on it tonight.
Now the longer I ran it and got a goof bed of coals after this video one sliver of wood kept a good mid simmer.
Actually, I wonder if i need a 6", not 4" as tis, to be hot enough. TBD
Gave up on the propane take and though I'd cut up and oil tank.
Probably turn the rocket stove to the left to feed from the side and give more room to feed without touching the tank.
Left is side and right is front.
Anyone ever done, or seen anything like this? I got this wild hair pushing me for a project later this year. I have this idea to get a 100# propane take for keep on Marketplace. Drain and clean. Cut to top and side out in the middle. Get a 250 gallon, old oil tank and scrap it for the flat...
Who has been starting with died beans? My prepper garden has me in beans from last year, but I just planted 6# of two different types and this winter I'm likely to have over 100# of beans for me and others. Need to start doing cooking research for recipes and trying canning them.
Looking for...
Avid outdoorsman here and something I never see people talk about with ticks is wearing dark clothing in the woods. I wear green, blue, grey or black in the woods. No white, beige, light grey or white. Animals have white under bellies and that attracts the ticks to a host.
Making this and my own brown bread has cut out a lot from the grocery store. Still have to buy cheese, butter and olive oil to make mayo. Buddy said, "You should make butter" and I replied "I got way to many hobbies already and this damn job is in the way of half of them. Last thing I need is...
My daughter made me banana bread and liked that for breakfast better than the brown bread on Sammiches. So I aimed to make some and … Whoops
Work got slow and nothing to do for an hour and found a Pumpkin quick bread recipe and slammed it through.
It said 15oz and I only had a can of 29 oz so...
Looks great. If you ever make any with a wet texture clip parchment paper t the racks while squirting it and once on the weight will hold it down. I have a wet BBQ recipe and it sinks into the slots and becomes a B-i-itch to remove the jerky from the racks.
I need to find some more ground meat...
