Is there different grades of brisket? Bought a whole brisket and had it cut in 4 lb ers. I have had others that didn't seem to be as grainy and tender. Thanks, enjoying the site!
Have any of you tried Kona Coast marinades? I have tried them all and they're awesome: pineapple teriyiki, Ginger Wahhabi, orange teriyiki and one other I cant remember. Check em out at Bi Lo. Probably make some good wings
Just wanted to say hi. Have had a Brickman upright and smoked only around the holidays, now I have a professional Char griller gas grill and charcoal smoker and I'm ready to get serious! Enjoy the site, keep it smokin!!
I used almost twice as much charcoal today, It seemed to burn up fast. Temp stayed around 240 all day. Not a new bag of charcoal, didnt do anything different. Smoked 3 lb butt and 4 lb brisket. Loaded charcoal chimney 3 times. Any ideas? Thanks in advance
Started this morn smokin a 4 lb butt for a family at church who have been sick. put it on at 830 am, had to take my wife to dr. Got back 10 and fire was gone, no charcoal or wood. Bad way to start a Saturday, uh? Putting a brisket on for my family next. Have a great day smokin.
