Hi all,
I wanted to share this great book, that I find has the most information on basically everything concerning meat.
The book explains WHY and how 🤔 to process meat for any further use as smoking etc.
It has good historical background and 29 in depth chapters covering all in 705 pages.

Hi all, just received my cold smoke generator- https://tiskre-do.eu/product/sg2/
It's a very nice and intelligent design. All stainless steel, adapters to other smoker brands included.

Hi everyone, I have been very busy with building a new smoker, wood structure, PID controlled, electric assisted, because the old Bullet bit the dust and I returned it to its Maker.
Size is 50x50x120cm, opening roof, on hinges, on the bottom is a fan assisted round resistance 2000w that blows...
Hi all, if you're looking for an inexpensive cold smoke generator, here's one that costs 2$ in one of the cheapo stores.
It's a stainless steel colander that you push down on, to get the desired form.
It's 12" across 10" net, but bigger is even better. I tested mine and got 6 hours plus on 7/8...
I want to buy a cold smoke generator and lately I see the new type with a secondary cylinder for filtration of smoke.
Is it a good unit 🤔 to get, or the single cylinder is good enough? There's not a big difference in cost, but the manufacturer doesn't give any details on the product
Do you...

I have complete PID system that I took out of my old coffee...
Hi all,
My wife and I went shopping for meat for smoking etc, and we found a part of shoulder that is attached to sort of T blade, with the bone in.
(That is to describe to you what meat it is, sorry I don't know the name)
It is loosely vacuum packed and when I read the label, it appears they...
Hi all, I got a wild boar shoulder in the freezer and I'm wondering if anyone has a recipe for smoking it .
It's about 2.5kg, with bone, what can I do with it that's not too complicated? (As far as preparation goes)
Any thoughts, ideas please?
I have a charcoal "bullet smoker" that works...
I've been looking at these cold smoke vertical SS generators (with air pump) and it seems to me that they are based on the Venturi system, like carburators etc.
Am I right? What I wonder is why is the output tube near the bottom? It seems to me pretty easy to make something like that, with pipe...
Hi all, just received my first real Smoker.
14" wide and roughly 3' tall, it's pretty modular very nicely built powdered paint over 3/16" steel.
About 22# weight.
Comes with 2 grills and 2 pans, one for charcoal and the other for dripping.
However, I think I bought wrong wood chips, they...
I'm looking for a meat grinder and came across this one.
It weighs 22lbs, solid cast iron and also serves as a sausage stuffer. And has a reverse:) Price is about $75. And im not big production (yet) being a newbie lol
It's hard to find an electric meat grinder that has solid rating feedback and...
