MES30 spade terminal wire gauge
Hi there. I have a MES30 model 20077214 and need to replace the spade terminals. What size terminals do I need? 12-10 gauge 1/4", 16-14 gauge 1/4", or something else? Thanks and I love this forum!- Sooner smoker

Mesquite from chipper shredder
Is it ok to use mesquite chips from my chipper shredder in my MES? I would think so but I'm not sure if the smaller pieces from the chipper vs. wood chunks would have any affect. Thanks.- Sooner smoker

Reduced pepper brisket rub
I'm looking for a brisket rub that'll make great bark with reduced pepper. I made a 50/50 kosher salt/course black pepper the last time I smoked. I thought the bark and taste were great, but my wife said it was too peppery. Does any one have a rub recipe that produce a great bark on a MES...- Sooner smoker

MES won't turn on - help please
Hi all, I have a second hand MES 20071317. I've used it several times with no problems. However, during the last smoke it completely died after about 4 hours. Nothing lights up when I plug it in. The breaker isn't tripped and the outlet still has power. Replacing the control panel didn't do...- Sooner smoker
