I bought a rack of ribs Monday night at Wal-Mart, I opened them tonight to get them rubbed up and ready to smoke tomorrow. As soon as I cut the package open the smell hit me! It was the worst smelling meat I have ever experienced. What a waste of money!
I made jerkey for the first time using my pellet grill. I had some cube steak in the freezer I didn't know what to do with. So I thought it would make good jerky. I sliced it in about 1/4 in strips and seasoned. Smoked for 4 hours and let cool. It has great flavor and turned out amazing!
