    The wife is on a girls trip, so I took this piece of meat out, buttered her up, had a nice bath (sous vide style), then turned up the heat (reverse sear on Weber Kettle). Wined and dined through and through.

    Smoked some 5lb ducks for Christmas (feat. a pup). Turned out pretty well. Look good but could have gotten the fat to render a little more.

    Whiskey, beer, and now… smoking meat. I am new to smoking. My brother (who also had never smoked meat before) decided to build a big smoker from an old propane tank. The thing is a beast and runs great. I’m looking forward to learning all the tips and tricks.
