    Watch your Blackstone

I ordered some replacement knobs from Amazon. Not BS direct replacements but ones I thought that might work better. They came with 3 different sized inserts. I may be able to use the two other sizes if they are modified to fit large diameter shaft. I will put a shut off right at the gas...

    Friction Plate Clutch

See if you can get the clutch apart. It may just need a little resurfacing. 80 grit sandpaper. Could be just sticking. Lube up all the linkage too. RG

    Another spare ribs attempt

Looking good. Practice makes it fun too. Make sure to rest. I don't peek or spritz. Racks get a squirt of sauce and double foil wrap. Into the cooler for 45-60 minutes. They finish fine. RG

    Watch your Blackstone

Hey just a quick FYI on Blackstone griddles in general. I have a 22" BS and it's about 4 years old, it travels with me [camper] so it has over 10,000 miles of bouncing down the road. I made hashbrowns on Inauguration day and turned off the grill (so I thought) and left them on the griddle...

    "Dispatching" Skunks

I've had some major skunk problems due to housing growth in my neighborhood. With no habitat they have come to my property. It's a problem when I can't walk across the yard to the shop/smoker area without running into a skunk. One year I got 8 of them the next 10 that was about 4 years ago...

    Pepper grinder.

We have had this all metal "Frugal Gourmet" for 40+ years. We got it as a gift for donating to our local educational TV station. It's all brass on the outside and cast iron innards. The handle folds in half and it broke about 15 years ago. That allen screw on the handle is my patch job...

    250 Gallon Smoke Stack

You really don't need heavy guage. I used a pole from my son's basketball hoop. It's maybe 1/16" thick. You could fab it from that and add straight sides for an oval shape. 4 sides for square, large angle irons. RG
