    Seasoned Swine Golden CO

Same here. Which gives you an idea of the quality of other local places I've tried. So far, only our forum friend, YNOT2K's place is the only BBQ joint I return to. He's leaps and bounds better than me.

Greetings from south central Washington State

Ah, I see now you spent your career at Ch. Ste. Michelle. Probably retiring at the right time then. Enjoy your retirement!

NY strips can't do, is it just me?

I've had many a steak while vacationing in Mexico. The best places bring in either USDA Prime, or Canadian beef. The others come from local cows, and are so tough, I've often wondered if the cow died of old age.

    Walmart+ and Walmart Problems

So, it appeared that they got into my account, changed the password and CC# (probably bogus). But they couldn't change the email, so I kept getting notices that my order was ready to pick up. "Mohamed", yeah that was his name, assured me that the order had been canceled. But later, I got a...

    Walmart+ and Walmart Problems

By strange coincidence, I had someone hack my Walmart account this morning. They tried to get a curbside delivery in Denver. Wally wasn't much help, only confirmed that I'd been hacked. Had to delete my account with them, and I'm not sure I want to set up another one.

    Walmart+ and Walmart Problems

I just had an issue with Amazon. They also use private delivery contractors quite often, now. I ordered a 2 lb. bag of Mexican hot chocolate powder, as it was on a good sale. (I love this stuff.) It arrived promptly, and the box was pristine. But when I opened it up, the bag (which was loosely...

    St. Louis ribs

I love the look and taste of St. Louis ribs. Wish they could breed the cartilage out of those pigs, though.

what part of beef is this?

I once ordered a cut of tenderloin at a restaurant, and it came butterflied like that. I wasn't impressed.

    Any other SMF Bourbon/Whiskey "enthusiasts"?

I took this pic a few months ago. Some are gone, others have been added. Note the 4 bottles of Elijah Craig on the bottom right. These are the last of the 12-year age statement bottlings before that line was discontinued.

    Hot Wheels

Thanks for the memories! Hot Wheels were great, until your mother discovered the orange track made a great instrument of punishment.

What did you cook for SB LX?

Babyback Ribs, two ways: Regular, and Extra Chinese. 1. Rubbed with Meat Church Honey BBQ rub. Did those 2-2-1 on the Reqtec. They ended up too soft, probably should cut back on the foil part, or done without it altogether. 2. Coated with my Char Siu marinade, and let sit for 5 days in the...

That, too. But I think it only ran for one season.

    Spinning A Rack Of Babybacks

Interesting. I've never see charcoal cylinders like that before.

What Was Your Fav As A Kid??

As far as TV shows go, I was always glued to Batman, same Bat time, same Bat channel. The Lone Ranger was a favorite, too. Later on, I got into Star Trek reruns & anything Sci-Fi; Time Tunnel, Battlestar Galactica, Man from Atlantis, etc. Although in the summer, as my folks both worked, I could...
