    Bread Oven

That’s a nice oven and since it’s 110/120v, it takes time to get the radiant heat built up…..those heating elements look like normal 240 heating elements and when run on 110/120 you only get 1/4 the watts. I imagine it is 1800ish watts total so 900ish watts per oven, but once it gets hot the...

Red's Santa Maria Build - A Custom Grill for JIMSMOKES!

I happened to screen cap this the other day……the use of the brasero is for pure wood coal cooking….most peps build a monster fire in it and then move over pure coals to the other side. Jim will have this option or he can also cook over the flame or he can cook it down. If he gets a large dome...

The LP BTU rating on a LP stove should be valid. They will be lower than the same burner in NG as noted above I know our Thermidor worked very well but 15k burners burn hot.

    New Refer and Range tomorrow

Exactly LP burns hotter (higher BTU) than NG. When I was having having issues with our capital range I spent some time talking to their engineer and he said regulations (they were made in CA) require LP to be down graded from the factory….if you look at the specs of all LP ranges today are all...

    New Refer and Range tomorrow

Very interesting, I'm wondering if your pressure is low from the tank or orifice size on the burners. Propane burns hotter than NG so an adjustment has to be made. Because of the heat the often-down grade them to a lower BTU over NG out of risk over performance. Our Thermador burners were...

    Friday Night Baby Backs!

Thanks miller! Oh, next time you make the box mac trade out the milk for heavy cream....It's a thing......and if you want the Gordon Ramsey version put the butter, powder, and cream in a bowl and heat up in the MW before adding.....It makes it creamy creamy!

The dual fuel is for oven temp control. An electric oven can be more precisely controlled vs a gas burner oven. Wolf also uses a dual oscillating convection fan system that makes for a very uniform chamber temp with it full of stuff. It also allows for "air frying" that is difficult with a...

I could use a little cheering up

My son works in the Lab and as he puts it "we grow lots of stuff related to surgery" i.e. he (the lab) tests for potential bacteria and other stuff after surgery. They even run tests on the best antibiotic to whatever grows for recommendation to the Dr.... ie the Dr doesn't just pick...

    New Refer and Range tomorrow

The two front are higher btu then back, the back left is the low simmer burner.... The oven of this range is the real deal oven! Anything above 15K in a residential range is really hot burner for higher than that one will need a large pan to avoid heat spill. We looked at this range really...

Very nice on both! the Thermador handles even match the wolf range handle. Did you end up going with a gas oven or duel on the range? either way wolf ovens are the bomb in a good way!
