I just wrapped up my first cook on my new cooker. I was very surprised to come home one day from work and my girlfriend had a Grilla Kong sitting in the garage for me! Today I did two 8 lb butts with meat church honey hog seasoning. I couldn't be happier it turned out great.
I ended up doing a few tests and found that the temp probe was still acting up upon a boil test and changing to another thermometer on my grate. So I contacted fb and awaiting a response. Took the fb out of the equation totally and used my other thermometer and kept my pit and meat temp right...
Hey everybody, I began my cook this morning at 5. Im doing two 8 lb butts on my kamado cooker (Grilla Kong). My temp gauge on my cooker is showing right around 225 degrees. I just picked up a flame boss 100 and it's showing my pit temp at 390! 128563 I'm 2.5 hours into this cook and wondering...
