I have used cinnamon in my rubs every now and then. I like it. I also use fresh ground allspice in my rib rub.
Best of luck in your venture....let us know when it's available.

And you might wanna get some coffee too...it's almost 700 pages!
I've never used 'em before either. I got 8 of 'em tho....and being the "frugal" sob that I am.....I just hate to throw them out.
I put the beef in the marinade last night....should be in the dehydrator later today. I'll let you know how it works out.
ketchup or not....those look darn good!
When we got our first hot dog up in Maine.....they asked if I wanted mayo on it. I tried it, and it was pretty good. They put celery salt and some really good, locally made relish as well.
But, I am partial to char grilled hot dogs over some nice lump...
Anybody use 'em?
I have about 5 or 6 packs of their jerky cure/spice mixture that came with my dehydrator and jerky gun.
I have some sliced up eye round, and some ground round that I'd like to use for jerky. In the past I've just mixed up my own spices, but if these are decent, I'll use 'em...
The second grinder looks exactly like the one I just bought from Northern Tool.

The one from Northern has all metal gears inside....didn't see that in either ebay listing.
You can do a lot of reading on grinders in the sausage making...
Made up a batch of these yesterday. Sorry, no pics though....wife had the camera.
Can't wait to grill these over some lump.
Thanks for sharing the recipe! I will be making more of these soon.
Thanks....I should have eliminated the part about the food processor. That was just part of the original recipe. I just cut the chicken into chunks and mixed in the rest of the ingredients. Then I ran it through the 3/8" plate and stuffed the casings at the same time.
Thanks....the grinder...
