Their is a few guys who use guru products on their smoker and like them. Not sure on that exact model but I to am looking at a guru but want the wifi cyberq so I can go places and check from iPhone.
Rib tips (a.k.a. brisket, a.k.a. costal cartilages, a.k.a. breaks). Rib tips are strips that have been cut from the lower ends of the spareribs when making St. Louis cut ribs. They typically run 8 to 12" long and 1 to 3" wide.
I'd recommend replacing the turkey with hamburger, I find that works great! But if you do prefer the healthier way I would go whole egg or no egg and minimal bread crumbs. I've never had that problem with turkey burgers before.
If you want it real hot try lighting a full chimney of briquettes. Also that's a lot of wood chunks for a short smoke. I'd recommend starting with one fist size chunk for smokes under 3 hours and when you can't smell it anymore add one more chunk.
I love my wsm enough to have boght a second one to keep at my moms for holidays, birthday parties and any other excuses during visits. It doesn't have a fryer but u can pick one up for cheap.
Looks good. I don't make ribs a lot but I generally let people put on their sauce. I also havent dun a comp so can't commit on it as far as technique, but I'd imagine something that gives a little shine helps aesthetically.
We know your not, but a guy can dream about that entertainment. Although the other guy who posted about it did say he was still thinking about some testing on that subject.
