I'm going to do a chowder that is pretty much scalloped potatoes. We rarely have it. And I love the stuff. I make a really good bacon and potato chowder. I'll springboard from that idea.

Yesterday I bought a couple of Fricks carver hams. Around 4 pounds each. Impulse buy because I really like their hams. And it is hit and miss getting them here.
Anyone have their favorite recipes for ham? I'm thinking slow cooking. I was thinking pulled ham. But not sure of the...
They overlap. I'm not sure how the other layer being 90 degrees could be stronger. More joints. I really don't think the results would be appealing visually speaking. Might even be using more wood. IMHO.
@chopsaw What do you use to apply glue? A month or two ago. I ordered a paint brush on Amazon for 5.00. And got a dozen of these instead by mistake. Told them. They didn't want them back. 12.00 a piece. Ok. Thanks!
Silicone pastry brush. These work great. And the dried glue pulls right off.
Ok, thanks! The fence on the jointer was slightly out of 90 degrees. Which caused a slight cup on my glue ups. Corrected most of it while planing. There is still a very slight cup. If you didn't have a straight edge on it. I doubt you'd notice it.
Well, this was supposed to be for a customer.
Until I did the final glue ups. I then discovered that my back rest on the jointer was slightly out of 90 degrees. It is slight. But there. I'll keep it. And fix later.
I put brass feet on this one. Smart looking board otherthen my goof.
