Embarking on a new octagon offset build.

Since I'm fairly new here, I have no experience. But, a friend of mine years ago ran into the same issue as you, short on steel. He scrapped his light gauge steel and started fresh with a 150 or 200 gallon propane tank. I forget the actual size. He cleaned it out real good after cutting it and...

    Thanksgiving Turkey Gravy, Homemade

Love this. Unfortunately in my house I'm the only one who appreciates giblet gravy. This I'm going to try lightly smoking the giblets first.

Pit Boss, Memphis 4 in 1

After looking at it, it is very similar to my current setup. Char-griller 5072 dual purpose. I like mine, it just has to be babysat when smoking on it. But, other than that, I have turned some good meats on it. In the end though, dedicated tools work the best. Would you use an adjustable wrench...

    My first Fattie or Meatloaf

Last night I decided to try making a Fattie. 2-1/2 pounds of burger, peppers, mushrooms and, loads of sharp cheddar cheese. All wrapped nicely in canadian bacon. My wife helped assemble it while I started the apple wood. Smoked for 2 hours at 175 then finished it off at 300 till IT was 145. It...

    Pork loins on a whim

Ok, Im not starting any arguments. over this. But, there maybe a misunderstanding here. We did not eat at 9. We ate at 7:30. My wife and I both work. Not only does my 4 yr old go to bed at 8:30 but, I go to bed at 9.
