Now I am confused, and that is not hard . I have read some of the older posts on making ABTs(Atomic Buffalo Turds) where the smoking times have been anywhere from 30 Min's. to 2 hours. What is the overall agreement on smoking times since there is such a big gap in the times given?

Well gang here they are. I pulled them at 162 instead of 165 like bbq Bubba suggested. Now the only thing I want to be sure of since I'm a newbie is the internal temp OK since everyone says 170 is the internal safe temp for pork? Oh yeah please ignore the shadow on the left two. You know who is...
We have a camper so there will be no problem. When I camp on the river We just store anything we have in an ice Chest. Learned a real neat trick form a friend of mine. He takes a stack of newspaper, and places it over the top of his ice in the cooler, and this helps insulate the cooler keeping...

I pulled them at 168 after calling my sausage making buddy. I've read where most on the forum pull them after 3 hours. I thought I had to bring them up to 170.
Here they are. I think they are overdone, but I don't know the lowest internal temp I can use. A friend of mine says he doesn't go over 145 for sausage.
Now that I have tried the ribs, I'm trying a couple of fatties. Made up a rub, and put them on at 4:15 pm.. Had a little trouble with my burner. It noticed how it wouldn't get hotter than 191. Opened the box, and saw the burner was barely putting out a flame. The whole burner was lit, but the...
No, I couldn't get the temps below 243-25. The outside tem was 101. Had the side vents closed as fas they would go, and the top vent open all the way. Took them off at 170 degrees.
