We have a place that sells tenderloin once a year for $3.99-$4.99 a lb if you buy the whole loin. I have done two years in a row and have eaten right away and later on after freezing. I have not been impressed. It tastes gamey and not good at all. Won't be doing it again.

I don't tap on it, I use a 10" nail to drive down into the pellets from top to screen in the bottom to ensure air flow. But I tend to get a bit overkill on things...

I had MAJOR issues with mine. Beat the snot out of it and then finally had to use a jig saw to cut and those ears were a biatch! I finally got it, but didnt fit well (probably due to banging it around). Called company and sent me new better punched cutouts. Must still be some in the pipeline...

I am planning on adding a BBQ Guru port to my firebox in the spring for River Lot weekend smoking. Less fuss to vents, more time to spend with family and Beer!

Check out the many threads on the Char Griller Smokin Pro w/SFB. There are a ton of mods to make it smoke as close as $300 can get to the big boys. I got mine modded to an offset and it works great.

Setting up the software for the CyberQ and I am not having success with configuring email alerts to Hotmail.com.
