Hi Eric ! welcome to SMF ! not sure on the meat part , but for the wood part of it I found these people and tried them. Fruit Wood's website. They have a great website with lots of info on all types of wood . prices are good and free shipping to boot. hope this will help.
A few weeks ago I found a place called fruitawoodchunks.com , I ordered a 20 lb. box of cherry, peach and apple . after reading their website I learned a lot about wood and how to use it. super nice people and delievery as promised .
I also watched the show and enjoyed it . Jr. done a good job , and will be as good as Myron someday , he needs practice, practice, practice !
and when daddy is showing him the ropes, Listen and Pay Attention , because Myron knows his stuff !
I like Head Country, also Rib Crib ,Blues Hog ,etc....for a fruit based one I like Smokin' Blues by 3 guys smokin' team here in tulsa. just picked up 2 bottles today !
Also , I have luck just calling the local tree trimmers out of the phone book. they already got paid to trim or cut the tree down and haul it off , they sometimes will make a heck of a deal on it. some times its a win/win .
