I normally just go with equal parts sugar and salt, whole allspice and bay leaves.

It smoked for about 2 and a half hours at 275, I used apple and cherry chunks.
It came out really juicy and smokey, and the butter really made it yummy. I'll certainly make this again.

Okay, with the built in pan the can didn't seem necessary.
I brined the chicken 24 hour swith salt, sugar, whole allspice and bay leaves covered with rub, stuffed butter pats under skin. Drip pan has Shock Top beer, vinegar and Cajun seasoning.

I called Masterbuilt and told them the trouble. They said it was either the element or the board. Since the smoker was just over a year old they said they would take care of it. They sent me a new element to try first. I had the new one installed in about 15 minutes, turned it on and...
Hey Guys,
After my new years eve smoke I had a lot of company all night and didn't feel like dealing with a full drip pan, so I left the smoker outside all night.
Of course it rained.
Next time I tried to turn it on it kicks out the GFI on the outlet it's always been plugged into.
Any idea...
