    GOSM Door Thermometer Troubles

The door thermometer on my GOSM is off by about 30 degrees compared to my Maverick. I don'tput any stock in the door unit. I have looked at some battery powered digitals for installation at various levels of the unit. If I replace your door unit, I'd think I'd go for a standalone digital wall mount.

Wood Chips: To soak or not to soak.....

I had a problem with flash fires in my smoke pan on my GOSM. Turns out I punched some air holes in the bottom and there was appparently too much air. Covered the pan bottom with aluminium foil and haven't had a flash fire since. I put my wood in a bread pan. But then, I put sand in my water pan...

    Dip Tray

I get some dripping down the left side front and rear legs of my GOSM. Not a real big problem but mine is on a surface made from some old slump blocks and they have a throw away factor, due to my stockpile. I think your idea to catch the dripppings, with the kitty litter, should serve you well...

It's supposed to bring good fortune for the new year. Well I love pork and saurkraut and I combined them in a sammie. A layer of pork, a...
