    Not oily or sticky atleast mine weren’t just don’t go over board on the oil. U only need enough to coat them. U only get a little seasoning on ur fingers no need to really wash them

    Thanks I think it all went well over all. She’s so so it’s a long recover. 6 months total. 3 months to really walk on it. It was a big surgery. But thanks tho she will get there

    Thanks it is a beast lol. Light coat olive oil seasoned them with the holy voodoo and put them in smoker at 250 for 90 mins stirring every 20 mins. Thats all I did very easy to do and they taste great.

    Been going for 3.5hrs now been running pretty stable like this. Top grate is hotter but where it’s at and how stable it it I am good with it.

    Ok folks trying it out for the first smoke. Got a good menu I think let’s hope the food is good. Stay tuned lol. First up the butt. Trying something new also brined it over night. Then a homemade rub. Sure smells good on smoker if nothing else.

    That piece of wood lasted 35 mins. I did have to bump open the top air intake about 2” and then closed it a little after it got burning. Temp maxed at 277 top and 254 bottom and held for most of that time temps started dropping to 250 and split was about gone so added one more. See how that goes...

    So I built a fire in it as suggested. With 7 pieces of wood in it. Got the coals going. Got it to about 400 a little higher than expected but I went in for dinner. Got the top air inlet closed.
