I don't notice it taking any longer than normal, each time is different though depending on ingredient temp, whether I sautéed in it, how much liquid there is. It did leak some steam out the vent this last time with just water. I pulled the vent apart and cleaned it with a q-tip, but otherwise...
I just washed it out and started it with just water. Can't burn that, right...
There is a silicone gasket in the lid. I just pulled it and inspected and it appears to be in good condition, not dried out, cracked or nicked. It also seems to be coming up to pressure and sealing properly.
Might...
We have had our 8qt Instant Pot Duo (IP-DUO80 V2) for a few years now and it has just recently started burning nearly everything I try and cook in it. Amount of liquid in the pot doesn't seem to effect the outcome. The last few things I have made have had to come out and be cooked either in...
I have always just added a bit of sauce to the meat before rolling, put some in the bottom of the pan, and then topped with the rest of the sauce. Dipping tortillas in the sauce seems like too much hassle.
Well, I'm feeling like a youngin in this thread. Most of these concerts were before I was born, but I'm jealous you got to see them. My first from a recognizable band was Godsmack in 2006. Plenty of HS/local band shows before then though.
My thermometer has magnets on the back of it. I stuck it to the side of the fridge and hang the probes over it. Works, keeps them relatively untangled and easy to get to.
Italian sausage on the grill. I got a grinder for Christmas and the casings are coming on the 30th, so I'm looking forward to some fresh sausage. Probably do grilled onions and peppers with it.
Not cooking anything again this year. Our new tradition is to go to the Chinese place Christmas Story style. So much less stress and a lot of fun. Plus it's just the 4 of us, so making the elaborate Christmas meal is alot of work and it stinks to not be able to share it.
Daughter got me a thermapen one, which is awesome. I had a cheapo knockoff that too 30 sec to read a temperature. This is literally only 1 second to read temp.
Wife got me a pizza stone for baking bread. And a ka grinder attachment for making sausage. And a huge assortment of beef jerky from...
Got my own batch going. Habaneros, garlic and 3% brine. We'll see how it looks in 2-3 months.
Have some jalapeños fermenting too, but those are just for snacking, not sauce.
We added a solar light to our coop and were able to keep our numbers up pretty high over winter. We also soaked our feed into a wet mash and used hot water in the winter so it was warm when the girls got it.
We did one for Christmas one year when living in update NY. Very popular up the and available in most every grocery store around the holidays frenched and tied into the circle. As I remember it was very good.

Rose Pork Brains. Popular around here supposedly. Can find them in most grocery stores. I've never had them but older coworkers say they are pretty good.
