Sorry no pics just wanted to say the shrimp came out great.. just got to think of some kind of rub or something for them...anyone have any suggestion let me know..
Decided to do another butt up to day my second so far and since the smoker is going I thought I would smoke up some shrimp warped in bacon and also some corn in the husk and baked beans I'll let ya all know how it goes...

Given this a try today with a few mods one I subbed the Cajun seasoning didn't have any but will get some for the next one with a sweet and tangy spice from Weber and added in some garlic powder never enough garlic :)
OK check in time it's 11:15 est butt has smoked for about 9+ hours I've just wrapped it in foil and replaced the prob. and opened up the vents to heat things up.
After about 20 min the temp has risen in the smoker and the internal temp of the butt is looking good.

If they will read to 32 degrees take a glass cup fill it with ice then fill the glass half full with water and top of with ice, place the prob in the ice water you should read 32 degrees. As for adjusting not sure on that one.
OK every one I'm going to try my first Boston But Thursday and I think I have every thing set in my head. But one or two question,
1. first off is it better to but the meat on the top or bottom rack. ( I have a WSM)
2. Is a hour and a half per lb# about the right cooking time, will longer make...
