Any interest in a fantasy football league?

I used to do this on a different site that isn't really active anymore a few years back. We did an 8 team league, no cash buy in, and at the end everyone just shipped a gift with a $10 maximum value to the winner (it was a backpacking site so gifts had to do with that, could do bbq related...

    Saturday Night Ribeyes.

Due to weather, has to cook tonight's steak on the Weber Q in the garage, I love that little thing as they still turned out awesome. Prime ribeyes, baked potato, corn, and a beer.

Made some chicken al pastor tacos last light.

They were actually the plan for tomorrow but weather seems to not want to cooperate. We just had a series of severe storms roll through this afternoon, supposed to be the story for tomorrow as well. Either way, I have a fence to repair now. Oof.

Made some chicken al pastor tacos last light.

Got a new vertical skewer pan and had to try it out. I love al pastor, so smoked some boneless chicken thighs on the CG Gravilty using it, with a marinade of: 1 1/2 oz Achiote Paste 2 Tbsp Ancho Chile Powder 1 Tbsp Kosher Salt 2 tsp Garlic Powder 2 tsp Dried Oregano 2 tsp Ground Cumin 1/4 tsp...

    Mississippi Pot (Pork) Roast

Thanks everyone for the positive comments and to whoever put this on the carousel. 👍 Going to reheat the leftovers tonight on the Flat-Iron griddle with some of my fajita seasoning added to it and make tacos. Takes care of the remainder in the fridge as well as Taco Tuesday. Two birds, one stone.

    Mississippi Pot (Pork) Roast

Wanted something different but still off the smoker for dinner tonight. Decided on Mississippi Pulled Pork Roast open face sandwiches on toasted homemade ciabatta bread, topped with smoked provolone. Took an 8 pound bone in pork butt, rubbed with one of my more savory rubs from my line, and...

Meatfest 2025 in Green Bay is tomorrow!

Chimichurri. They wouldn't allow any cooking inside so I had to get creative.

Meatfest 2025 in Green Bay is tomorrow!

Business was really good, almozt sold out and met a lot of good folks, definitely in for next year. Daughter did the kids cooking contest for grilled cheese, made a pulled pork grilled cheese for her entry. She would have one but one judged REALLY dinged her scored because she said it was "too...

Meatfest 2025 in Green Bay is tomorrow!

Any WI members in the area should go check it out, always a great time. We'll have our booth there and would love to chat with some SMF members. I'll also be doing a demonstration at 3pm. The daughter also auditioned and was accepted into the kids cooking competition, so had so make up a...

I may be a BBQ guy at heart, but...

Sometimes stepping outside the box is a fun challenge. Tonight's dinner. Sesame-crusted ahi tuna tostadas on a bed of spring greens tossed in a verde balsamic dressing. Tostadas are topped with a purple cabbage slaw, cotija cheese, a creamy avocado-verde sauce I made, and of course, the tuna...

    Tired, time to relax.

A 5 gallon corny keg is pretty standard in size. Just measured one of mine, 8.5" in diameter and 25" tall, but keep in mind you'll need a few inches clearance for your quick-connects and lines. They do make smaller 3 gallon ones if space is an issue but they are much more difficult to find used...

    Tired, time to relax.

That's too expensive, just get a cheap used fridge and convert it. You'll need a CO2 tank ($100), a CO2 Manifold for the amount of kegs you want to run ($15), faucets ($25/ea), beer and CO2 line, and ball locks for the kegs ($20 on amazon for enough to do 4 kegs). I get my corny kegs off FB...
