    Rookie attempt at Tri Tip

Please help me out with what will be my 1st attempt at smoking a Tri Tip.  I like my beef medium so I was thinking smoking it to about 130-135 and then wrapping and resting it for about 30 minutes.  Anyone have any suggestions?

    Smoked Duck

Thank you, it tasted pretty good!  Little disappointed that the smoke flavor didn't penetrate the layer of fat, but for my first time ever even dealing with duck, I think it turned out great.  Can't wait to attempt my next smoke, salmon!

Just pulled it out of the smoker with IT @ 160*.  Now I am putting it in the oven, tented in foil to finish off while I prepare my sides!
