    Another AMNPS-MES Question

My MES beside the chip load/burner on the left has 2 bars going to the left wall.  I place my AMNS on those bars and place a 1/4" piece of wood or plexi-glass in the bottom of the door for just a little air to get in.  It does not effect the smoking at all.  Try that.

Anyone use wood pellets in their MES?

How do you know what GEN you have.  I bought my MES a year ago.  I have the AMNPS.  I place it beside the heat box.  It fits just fine there.

Pork/Chicken Bologna - First Try Smoking Bologna

Jeff suggested slicing the bologna in one of his articles to get the seasoning down into the meat.  No other reason, seemed to work well.  Gonna try beef bologna next tie with BBQ sause and another rub.

    Cabin Fever

Reading all these posts about smoking is giving me "cabin fever".  You are going to force me outside and smoke something, even if it is just Bologna!  I got my MES last November and have cooked ribs 3 times and a pork tenderloin once.  Everyone loved the meat.  I have a real good friend with 2...
