I Have a pork shoulder seasoning overnight just not sure what I'm going to use to smoke it. I also finished up my mini Weber smokey mountain and really leaning to using that it.
Cut a hold on the bottom instead to get around cutting into the double wall on the side. Probably would have took the same amount of time but this should work just as good.
I'm doing the mail box mod to my electric smoker and the only elbow I could find to connect the smoker to the mail box is a galvanized steel. Will this be a issue? The smoker nor the amnps should reach temps high enough?
I have a rangemaster electric smoker and will be doing the mailbox mod this weekend. My smoker doesn't have the hole for the chip loader. How would you guys go about cutting and setting the hole up for the duct with the double walls?
Just ordered one on Amazon yesterday. Wish I knew about the discount code but that's my fault for not researching. I'll test it out once it arrives and report back.
Also have a Thermopro t-08 on the way to take out all the guess work. Should have thought about a digital probe before I cut the whole for the anolog thermometer.
I have all the expanded metal I need for my charcoal basket.
For the guys with a charcoal basket in your mini how long of smoke can you get. With the basket you can't get as many coals so I'm curious how long you can smoke with 1 basket full.
